Classrooms, Homeschools & Tutors — Let's Talk
Educators hold a special place in my heart. If you're running a classroom, homeschool co-op, or tutoring group that needs more seats than family plans cover, there's a group offering built for you — classroom dashboards, visual pacing, and question-level class reports included.
Groups of up to 25 students run under $300 a year, and every group gets a quote sized to its needs.

Whether you have one child, a pair, or a full household — pick the plan that matches your family or classroom. Larger plans unlock deeper savings per student, so growing families get more for less.
The Upwardly Math Promise: No Subscription Traps
As a parent, I hate subscription traps as much as you do.
- 100% self-serve — Change or cancel your plan anytime from the My Account page inside the app — on your own. No phone calls, no emails, no hoops.
- No lock-ins — Walk away whenever you need to, and come back whenever you're ready.
- Direct line — If you ever have a billing issue, you're talking to me (Rudy, the developer) — not a chatbot.

Frequently Asked Questions
Have questions? We have answers.
What happens during the 7-day trial?
You get full access to every feature, every grade, and every question from minute one. Your card is not charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before then, you owe nothing.
Do I need a credit card to start?
Yes — starting your trial takes a payment method, but you won't be charged until your 7-day trial ends, and you can cancel anytime before then and pay nothing. Want to look first? Take the two-minute tour — the whole experience, start to finish, no signup required.
Is my payment information safe with a small company?
Fair question — and the honest answer is that we deliberately don't handle it. Payments run through Stripe. They own the checkout, the card data, and PCI-compliant processing. To be precise about what we do keep: your plan, your past charges, and your next charge date, so your billing history is visible in your account and so we can help if you write in with a question. Your card number is never part of that, and never reaches an Upwardly Math server. If you subscribed before we moved to Stripe, your subscription is processed by Lemon Squeezy (a Stripe company) as Merchant of Record, and your statement shows their prefix "LEMSQZY" alongside our store name rather than "Upwardly Math" on its own — so if you spot that on an older charge, it's us.
Can I switch plans after signing up?
Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time, and the change takes effect immediately. After your free trial, cancellations take effect at the end of your current subscription term.
What grades are covered?
Upwardly Math currently covers Grades K–8 with curriculum-aligned math content, and we add new units and questions every month based on parent feedback. Kindergarten currently has a starter set of units covering basic math concepts that our youngest learners — still building their reading skills — can complete with light parental support, and Read Aloud can speak every question to them (see below); more K-appropriate units are on the roadmap.
Can questions be read aloud?
Yes — Read Aloud plays back every question, and the Help content too, for Grades K–5. Students choose how much they lean on it: every question, or just the one that needs it. For pre-reading students it means math practice isn't gated on reading skills.
Can I turn off the competitive features?
Yes. The Weekly Race has a simple visibility toggle on your dashboard — on by default, but always your call, per child. The XP Shop can be switched off entirely or item by item. And recognition is positive-only: students are celebrated when they reach a milestone, never shown a discouraging rank.
How do I cancel?
You can change or cancel your plan anytime from the "My Account" subscription tab inside the app. No phone calls, no retention hoops — it's all self-serve.
